Chutters

Not just your regular small town candy store, Chutters boasts an entry in The Guiness Book of World Records for having the longest candy counter in the world! A presence on Littleton’s Main Street since the late 1800s, Chutters is a not-to-be-missed destination for visitors and local residents alike. First-time visitors will be enchanted by all the assortments and excited to fill their bags with many favorites. Locals drop by regularly to pick up a pound of Chutters’ famous fudge, or to purchase goodie bags and favors for parties, weddings, holidays, and other special occasions.

Jax Jr. Cinemas

Just because you're camping doesn't mean you can't venture out into the real world to catch that new movie the family has really been wanting to see. The Jax Jr. Cinemas has two screens, delicious concessions, and the most popular movies. A great way to check in with the world outside the Campground for an evening.

Littleton Historical Museum

For all those history buffs out there! You can learn about the interesting history of Littleton in the town's very own Historical Museum! It's open Wednesdays, 10 AM to 2 PM, or by appointment.

Littleton Main Street

One of the best parts of Littleton is its great Main Street. So many small businesses and restaurants to check out, it's quite the treasure. While you're at it, check out the River Walk, Harmony Park, and the Covered Foot Bridge, all next to the River running parallel to Main Street!

The Moore Reservoir

The Moore Reservoir has other access points besides the one down the road from us! There's swimming, boating, hiking, and fishing all around the Reservoir!

Nature Trails

If you're looking for the best view of Littleton, check out Kilburn Crags! Looking for an easy, open hiking path. Try the Dells! The Pine Hill Trails offer something a little more wild and vigorous than the Dells, but not as steep as Kilburn Crags. All within a five to ten minute drive from the Campground!

Time Quest NH

Time Quest NH is a live action escape room game in Littleton, NH. Your team will have one hour to solve clues, puzzles, and tasks. Communication, teamwork, and skills of observation are essential to escape! Can you unlock the secrets and solve the mystery in time?

An easy family hike exploring natural river formations, this is a well known attraction in Franconia Notch. A great spot for a picnic. 

Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway

Franconia, NH

For those looking for new heights of adventure, there's the Aerial Tramway on Cannon Mountain in Franconia Notch. An 80-passenger cable car brings visitors to the 4,080-foot summit of Cannon Mountain in under ten minutes. On a clear day, you can see the mountains of four states and Canada! At the summit, you'll find spectacular scenic walking paths, a 360 degree observation deck, a cafe, bar and restrooms.

Crawford Notch State Park

Hart's Location, NH

What a scenic drive this one is! Follow Route 302 through this beautiful mountain pass! There are so many hiking trails throughout the surrounding mountains. 

The Flume Gorge

Franconia, NH

Located in Franconia State Park, the Flume is a natural gorge extending 800 feet at the base of Mount Liberty. The walls of Conway granite rise to a height of 70 to 90 feet and are 12 to 20 feet apart. A trip into the Flume begins and ends at the Flume Visitor's Center. Guests can choose to walk through just the Gorge or do a two mile loop. The walk includes uphill walking and lots of stairs. The boardwalk allows you to look closely at the growth of flowers, ferns and mosses found here. While it is definitely uphill, it's not too difficult. A fun hike for the family.

Franconia Notch State Park

Franconia, NH

If you drove up on Interstate 93, you got a taste of the beauty of Franconia Notch. Franconia Notch State Park is located in the heart of the White Mountain National Forest. Franconia Notch is a spectacular mountain pass traversed by a unique parkway which extends from the Flume Gorge at the south to Echo Lake at the north. There's a lot of opportunities for hiking, swimming, and exploring for all levels of fitness. 

Mount Washington Auto Road

Want to see the top of the tallest mountain in the Northeastern United States, but you're definitely not hiking it? Don't want to pay the higher price of taking the Cog up, and you're fine driving up a mountainside? There's the Mount Washington Auto Road. Now this is a road trip!

Mount Washington Cog Railway

Bretton Woods, NH

All Aboard! Passengers will experience a sense of adventure and history on the Mount Washington Cog Railway's 3-hour guided train tour to the highest peak in the Northeast. With approximately one hour to spend at the 6,288 foot summit, visitors can take in the spectacular panoramic view, spanning the mountains and valleys of New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont, north into Canada, and east to the Atlantic Ocean.

Weeks State Park

Lancaster, NH

Hike or drive to the top of Prospect Mountain. Check out the museum at the top. Climb the fire tower for a great view. They have events at the Museum from time to time. 

White Mountain National Forest

This National Forest covers land throughout quite a few towns in NH (and even a few in Maine). Spectacular mountains, miles and miles of hiking trails, beautiful scenery. This is a great place to explore.

Lost River Gorge

North Woodstock, NH

A boardwalk leads you amongst boulders, rivers, and caves. Discovered by the Jackson brothers in 1852 entirely by accident, the land and boardwalk are kept up by the White Mountains Attraction Association,  Lost River is a great adventure for the family with lots to explore.
